About UsColumbus Right to Life is made up of two parts: The Columbus Right to Life Society and The Columbus Right to Life Educational Foundation. Descriptions of what each of these entities do are as follows:
The Columbus Right to Life Society, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation organized in 1975 to promote a deeper understanding and respect for human life and encourage its protection in an increasingly violent world. The main objective of the Society is to present detailed and factual information about fetal development, abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. We accomplish this by providing films, books, slides, and pamphlets to all interested individuals, schools, and organizations. In addition, the Society educates the public about current legislation affecting the protection of life. The Society also distributes a newsletter about life issues to interested parties and raises funds to support these efforts. The Columbus Right to Life Society is a local affiliate of Ohio Right to Life and National Right to Life.
The Columbus Right to Life Education Foundation is a nonprofit corporation founded in 1976. The Foundation was granted a 501C3 status by the Internal Revenue Service in September of that year. The Foundation was established with the purpose to foster respect for human life from conception to natural death. The Foundation accomplishes this purpose by the solicitation of funds to be used for the publication and dissemination of all types of educational materials dealing with the development of human life and its various stages and conditions.
